MANILA, Philippines -- The last quarter of the year will see five
popular international acts stage separate concerts in Manila. Among them
are boy band Jonas Brothers and former "American Idol" judge Jennifer
Lopez.
Following
his first visit to Manila in
May for a clothing brand endorsement, Joe Jonas will be joined by the
other two thirds of the popular Disney-grown musical act, Kevin and
Nick, to his second visit to the country.
The American boy band's Manila concert will see the real-life
brothers' reunion as an act after a three-year absence from the music
scene. According to the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the Jonas Brothers
will perform on October 19 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
J.Lo in Manila
After
expressing her excitement
over a possible visit to Manila in May, Latin singer Jennifer Lopez
will finally set foot in the Philippines for the first time for a
one-night concert.

The Philippine Star reported that the former "Idol" judge, also known
as J.Lo, has been confirmed to stage the Manila stop of her "J.Lo Dance
Again World Tour" at the SM Mall Of Asia Arena on November 26.
Rock bands, Morrison
Also confirmed to visit Manila in the last quarter of the year are
rock bands The Fray, Creed, and English singer-songwriter James
Morrison.
Morrison will perform at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on October 9 as
part of his world tour titled "The Awakening." He is known for the hits
"You Give Me Something" and "Broken Strings."
The Fray will perform live at the same venue on November 10, while Creed will hold a show the night after.
Creed, an American rock band, is known for the hits "My Sacrifice"
and "With Arms Wide Open," while The Fray is behind the songs "How to
Save a Life" and "You Found Me."
Cinderella, Buzz Lightyear
The Big Dome will also serve as the venue where Disney characters
Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will "scout" for new talents among its
kiddie audience.
In "Disney's Live! Mickey's Rockin Road Show," children will
"[discover] friends like Tigger and the 'Toy Story' cast and Cinderella,
and the second part they will come together and perform,"
according to Kerry Silson, who plays the character of Buzz Lightyear.
Billed as a "fun-filled road trip" that doubles as a talent search,
"Rockin Road Show" will run from September 5 to 15 at the Smart Araneta
Coliseum.
